Details at a glance: In-person workshop/photowalk Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, Florida
October 29th, 5:30pm to 7:30pm | $10
Join OM SYSTEM Ambassador Tiffany Taxis for a beach cleanup and photo workshop at Hugh Taylor Birch State Park. As we navigate the beach, collecting trash to keep our ocean ecosystem clean, we'll take brief breaks to experiment with our cameras. We'll search for shore birds, seashells and any other small ocean life. We'll dive into photography tips and tricks, composition, long exposure, and put the OM SYSTEM Tough TG-7 to the test capturing underwater images. Gloves will be provided, but we recommend you bring water, sunscreen, and a hat! And don't forget your camera gear! We'll do our part as photographers, leaving the beach a little cleaner than we found it while capturing some incredible images!
The top 5 topics covered during this workshop:
1 - Best practices and tips for photographing shore birds and small ocean wildlife
2 - Camera assistance and guidance on shooting in manual to take images to the next level
3 - Learn to compose your subject in an image
4 - Long exposure and built-in ND filters
5 - Locate, pick up and discard trash we find along our beach walk in order to leave the beach a little cleaner than we found it!
Please note! Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the time of year and weather.
