Details at a glance: In-person workshop at Longwood Gardens

October 27th, 4:00pm to 8:00pm

$10 (attendees are also responsible for purchasing their entry ticket to Longwood Gardens)

Stop and Smell the Flowers. Tuning into flowers can make the distractions of the day dissolve as our mind is cleared and our soul is calmed. Flowers can awaken you senses and make you more aware of nature. Come with us and visit Longwood Gardens, one of the world’s great gardens. We will walk through the wildflower fields and into the “mumtastic” conservancy (the annual Chrysanthemum Festival will be going on). Enjoy the “living wall” of the conservancy. There will be a plethora of native and exotic plants and horticulture (both indoor and outdoor) to observe and marvel at. The colors and shapes and patterns will bring you joy. This botanical garden has over 1000 acres of gardens, woodlands, meadows, elaborate horticultural displays, and conservancies. We will not have a chance to see all 9,000 species/ varieties of plants but we will have fun searching for small intimate scenes and colorful flowers. It is also a full moon, so we will have the added bonus of enjoying the rise of the October full moon.

The top 5 topics covered during this workshop:

1 - See the unseen by slowing down to notice the miracles all around us.

2 - Rejoice in the wonderful colors, patterns, and shapes of the flowers.

3 - Enjoy exploring trails, woodlands, meadows, ponds and waterscapes.

4 - Experience the “mumtastic” annual Chrysanthemum Festival.

5 - Immerse yourself with sights and smells and enjoy “the living wall”.

Attendees are responsible for purchasing their own entry ticket to Longwood Gardens.

You will need to bring your own camera and lenses.

Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the time of year and weather.
