This extraordinary location is found off the Pembrokeshire coast, and is a summer home for thousands of visiting puffins and other seabirds – providing photographers with unrivalled opportunities to get up close with wildlife and capture stunning images in a truly unique setting.
You'll be guided on the day by OM SYSTEM Ambassador Rob Cottle, an experienced visitor to Skomer, with the Cla(i)res on hand to provide technical and creative support.

Please note! The price of your ticket does not include accomodation or lunch: you'll need to pack your own sandwiches. We will meet in the Martins Haven National Trust car park at 9.15am and plan to return to the car park at 3.30pm. You will need to bring your own camera and lenses: you may be able to borrow and try additional lenses from our team on the day. Access to Skomer Island is via boat, and there are steep steps to navigate on the island itself. If there is adverse weather or high winds and Dale Sailing decides that the boat is unable to run, the cost of the boat (£40) will be refunded, and an alternative location/date for the workshop will be emailed to all attendees. The cancellation of boats is out of our control, and is decided by Dale Sailing.
