Join us for an Olympus (OM-D System) User Only workshop during fall in two of the most wonderful national parks the United States has to offer, Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Park. Join OM-D System Pro Ambassador, Lee Hoy, for this workshop designed to highlight all the wonderful features of the OM-D lineup of camera bodies and lenses.
This workshop is also part of our new limited series which will have a maximum of four (4) participants to ensure that each photographer receives plenty of personalized instruction during the workshop.
While we enjoy the incredible wildlife and scenery that both parks have to offer, we will take an in-depth look at the menus and controls of OM-D camera bodies. In addition, we will explore the computational photography features offered through OM-D cameras such as hi-res modes, pro capture modes, focus bracketing, live neutral density filter, and live composite modes to name a few. We will use live neutral density filter to capture waterfalls and rapids, pro capture mode for birds in flight and wildlife action, focus stacking for landscapes and/or macro images, and we will do some star trails or light painting with live composite modes. With fall colors, bears, moose, pronghorn, mule deer, elk, fox, coyote, and maybe wolf as subjects, both parks should provide a plethora of memorable experiences and outstanding images. Waterfalls, jagged mountains, a full moon, and more amazing scenery will give us a chance to practice our landscape photography skills.
This workshop is designed for the OM-D system user and will prove to be extremely valuable in helping you understand all the amazing features your camera has to offer. Lee will have a variety of OM-D system lenses available for you to try as well such as the M.Zuiko 8mm F1.8 Fisheye PRO, M.Zuiko 30mm F3.5 Macro, M.Zuiko 12-40mm F2.8 PRO, and M.Zuiko 300mm F4.0 IS PRO. Here is your chance to be immersed in the OM-D system in one of America’s most beautiful regions. We will also consider OM-D flashes and other accessories during the workshop.
