Join OM SYSTEM Mentor David Blanchard for an immersive small-group photography workshop at the beautiful Taitua Arboretum.
Set among a beautiful collection of mature trees, open parkland and tranquil gardens, Taitua Arboretum offers a diverse and ever-changing landscape to photograph. Winding pathways, towering trees, peaceful lakes and picturesque woodland scenes, alongside abundant birdlife and wildlife, create endless photographic opportunities. With light and weather shifting throughout the day, the landscape takes on different moods and perspectives.
With plenty of time to explore this beautiful setting, David Blanchard will share practical techniques and insights to help you make the most of the light, subjects and photographic opportunities around you.
This workshop takes place in a natural environment, with walking required on undulating paths and walkways. A reasonable level of fitness is required to participate comfortably. Suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy, comfortable footwear are essential, and participants should be prepared for variable weather and forest conditions.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own camera and lens to make the most of the experience. The event will proceed as planned, even in rainy weather.
