Presentation: Into the Landscape - Capturing More Creative Compositions

Topic: The challenge in photography is taking a scene that is visible to anyone who cares to look and present it in a uniquely artistic way. Join OM SYSTEM Ambassador Peter Baumgarten as he explores a number of creative approaches for his landscape images. Emphasis will be placed on compositional strategies that take full advantage of the creative potential within today's cameras.
OM SYSTEM Photographer Leigh Polen will also be in attendence with us and will be doing an in-booth session on a mix of OM SYSTEM photography!
Presentation: The Best Camera is the One You Have With You
When: Tuesday, June 17 @ 11AM In-Booth
Topic: The OM-5 is highly capable, yet compact so it’s the camera you can always have with you. I will show different types of photography I’ve done with the camera, including butterflies with a macro lens, cityscapes in high resolution mode with the 12-45mm, landscape photography, and possibly even astrophotography if I can get out to capture some prior to the event. For each type, I’ll describe why I chose the OM-5 for the job and how I captured the images.

Sunset / Nightscape Cruise with OM SYSTEM
When: June 17th @ 7-9PM | Boat departs at 6:30PM
Where: Pier 83 | West 42nd at 12th Avenue | Circle Line Sailings
Join us & B&H for an unforgettable evening on the water. Set sail for a night of music, drinks and incredible views, a perfect opportunity to capture stunning photos of the NYC skyline as it lights up the night with complimentary OM SYSTEM loaner gear! Enjoy a live DJ, an open bar with well liquor, beer, wine, a range of non-alcoholic beverages and delicious passed hors d’oeuvres. Boarding will begin at 6:30PM at Pier 83 West 42nd at 12th Avenue (Circle Line) Sailings will be from 7-9PM. Pier 83 is a short walk from the Javits Center.
Please Note: Capacity is limited. Sign-up is required.
Selected guests can pick up their wristband at the B&H Registration Desk located in the atrium right outside the Expo Floor entrance on the 3rd Floor of the Javits Center North Hall. You will need a wristband to board the cruises. No tripods allowed on board. Must be at least 21 years old to participate.
